BRAKE PERFORMANCE PART THREE, SHAKE RATTLE AND ROLL
The original inner brake pad retaining clip's are somewhat simply designed and can
cause the pads to rattle in the calipers. Especially if you choose to go for FERODO
PLATINUM pads. Brake power is very good, the rattling comes with it. Perhaps
the cadmium backside coating is a bit slippier and smoother than the black
epoxy coating found on Textar or Até pads, or their fit in the caliper is just
a bit looser, anyway I can hear 'm. I like silent pads, so here is the cure.

Everybody has an old dull saw hanging around somewhere, now here is your
chance to make good use of it. By cutting a few cm off and make two new
retaining clips, a lot more stiff and springy than the '' hairclips '' items
that originally came with the bike. Put some elbow - steam in it,
working on this material needs good tools. It is tough steel.
Now this is a retaining clip, made from a piece of sawblade.
Stiffer clips in place, from now on no more noisy inner pads,
now what about the outher pads?
