KEEPING A 1974 BMW R90/6 FIT FOR THE ROAD

1990 was the year I acquired a 1974 BMW R90/6 motorcycle. In the year following
it was stripped down completely and rebuild to a very healthy state and ready
again for reliable everyday use, drove it many many miles since and it
did
not miss out a beat yet. In the rebuilding process and during the years
following I have made some modifications here and there. Some for
easier maintenance and better performance others just because
I like to ride my own Non - Standard BMW two valve supertwin.

I have been the test pilot for all this but...

JUST REMEMBER THAT COPYING THESE ACTIONS ARE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Now First ...

The very best thing you can do instead of riding

And study it, thoroughly, before you go ahead. Learn to know your bike's innards
and functions. It will make you an independant mechanic / owner / rider.
Well, if you've done that and are still in for an even longer
read,
I certainly advice you to check out This website it looks
a bit chaotic maybe, but if you can't find your
answers there, then all hope is lost.
